Notes from the handbooks
- 215/60 R16 95H: Columns are 'Unladen/medium load' and 'Full load' (bar only). Same 2.4/2.4 and 2.6/2.6 in the ed. 02/2022 handbook, which adds: aimed at comfort, can be raised to a maximum of 3.0 bar front and rear for fuel efficiency.
- 215/55 R17 94V: Columns are 'Unladen/medium load' and 'Full load' (bar only). Mandatory for some versions/markets; the ECO PACK (1.3 MultiJet 95 HP / 1.6 MultiJet 115/120 HP) uses 215/55 R17 94V Goodyear. Same 2.4/2.4 and 2.6/2.6 in the ed. 02/2022 handbook, which adds: aimed at comfort, can be raised to a maximum of 3.0 bar front and rear for fuel efficiency.
- 215/55 R17 98V (M+S): Listed as a fitted tyre in ed. 04/2017; not in its pressure table, so the 215/55 R17 figure is not carried over.
- 225/45 R18 91V: Columns are 'Unladen/medium load' and 'Full load' (bar only). Not suitable for snow chains. Same 2.4/2.4 and 2.6/2.6 in the ed. 02/2022 handbook, which adds: aimed at comfort, can be raised to a maximum of 3.0 bar front and rear for fuel efficiency.
- 225/45 R18 91Y: Columns are 'Unladen/medium load' and 'Full load' (bar only). Not suitable for snow chains. Same 2.4/2.4 and 2.6/2.6 in the ed. 02/2022 handbook, which adds: aimed at comfort, can be raised to a maximum of 3.0 bar front and rear for fuel efficiency.
Figures marked "Maker's handbook" link to the maker's own document. "Reported" figures are the maker's, read from a copy we could not get from the maker directly. A figure marked ≈ has been converted from the unit the handbook prints. Nothing here has been checked against your car: if it disagrees with the label on the car, the label wins.

Tyre pressure questions
What tyre pressure should a Fiat 500X have?
It depends on the tyre size and, on some versions, the engine. For the sizes Fiat lists, the normal-load pressure is ≈35 psi (2.4 bar) at the front and ≈35 psi (2.4 bar) at the rear. Find your size in the tables above, and check the tyres cold.
What size tyres does a Fiat 500X take?
Fiat fitted the 500X with 215/60 R16, 215/55 R17 and 225/45 R18, depending on the generation and trim. The size is printed on the side of your tyre; the pressures above are listed by size.
Where is the tyre pressure label on a Fiat 500X?
On most cars it is on the driver's door pillar or inside the fuel filler flap. It normally gives the same figures as the handbook, which is where the ones on this page come from — if the two ever disagree, go by the label on your car.
When should I use the fully laden pressures?
When the car is carrying a full load — every seat taken, a full boot or a trailer. For everyday driving use the normal figures.
