Jaguar tyre pressures
Jaguar XF tyre pressure
The tyre pressures Jaguar prints in its handbook for each XF tyre size, by generation — XF Mk2 (X260) (2015–2024) and XF Mk1 (X250) (2007–2015). Find your tyre size on the sidewall, then read across.

What the handbooks don't say
- 2008-2011 cars: the earlier X250 handbooks on the TOPIx archive (JJM 10 02 40 901, (c) 2008; JJM 10 02 40 101) print no road-pressure table - they refer to the placard label - and only winter-tyre pressures plus a tyre-fitment list limited to named non-European markets, so nothing is recorded for those years.
- Issue 2 (2013) heads its saloon table 'Petrol engine size 2.0L/3.0L/5.0L (NA)' and has no diesel-saloon table, so the saloon rows rest on Issue 1 (2012) for diesel saloons built in 2013-2014.
- 2.2 diesel saloons are the bulk of UK X250 sales; neither issue names a separate saloon figure for them beyond Issue 1's un-split saloon table.
Figures marked "Maker's handbook" link to the maker's own document. "Reported" figures are the maker's, read from a copy we could not get from the maker directly. A figure marked ≈ has been converted from the unit the handbook prints. Nothing here has been checked against your car: if it disagrees with the label on the car, the label wins.

Tyre pressure questions
What tyre pressure should a Jaguar XF have?
It depends on the tyre size and, on some versions, the engine. For the sizes Jaguar lists, the normal-load pressure is 31–36 psi (2.1–2.5 bar) at the front and 31–36 psi (2.1–2.5 bar) at the rear. Find your size in the tables above, and check the tyres cold.
What size tyres does a Jaguar XF take?
Jaguar fitted the XF with 235/55 R17, 245/45 R18, 245/40 R19, 255/35 R20 and 285/30 R20, depending on the generation and trim. The size is printed on the side of your tyre; the pressures above are listed by size.
Where is the tyre pressure label on a Jaguar XF?
On most cars it is on the driver's door pillar or inside the fuel filler flap. It normally gives the same figures as the handbook, which is where the ones on this page come from — if the two ever disagree, go by the label on your car.
When should I use the fully laden pressures?
When the car is carrying a full load — every seat taken, a full boot or a trailer. For everyday driving use the normal figures.
