MG tyre pressures
MG HS tyre pressure
The tyre pressures MG prints in its handbook for each HS tyre size, by generation — HS Mk2 (2024 on) and HS Mk1 (incl. plug-in hybrid) (2019–2024). Find your tyre size on the sidewall, then read across.

Figures marked "Maker's handbook" link to the maker's own document. "Reported" figures are the maker's, read from a copy we could not get from the maker directly. A figure marked ≈ has been converted from the unit the handbook prints. Nothing here has been checked against your car: if it disagrees with the label on the car, the label wins.

Tyre pressure questions
What tyre pressure should an MG HS have?
It depends on the tyre size and, on some versions, the engine. For the sizes MG lists, the normal-load pressure is 34–37 psi (2.3–2.5 bar) at the front and 31–37 psi (2.1–2.5 bar) at the rear. Find your size in the tables above, and check the tyres cold.
What size tyres does an MG HS take?
MG fitted the HS with 215/60 R17, 215/60 R18, 235/50 R18 and 225/55 R19, depending on the generation and trim. The size is printed on the side of your tyre; the pressures above are listed by size.
Where is the tyre pressure label on an MG HS?
On most cars it is on the driver's door pillar or inside the fuel filler flap. It normally gives the same figures as the handbook, which is where the ones on this page come from — if the two ever disagree, go by the label on your car.
