Notes from the handbooks
- 195/50R16 84V: Mazda prints one front and one rear pressure for this car; no full-load figures. Winter (M+S) tyres of this size: rear 220 kPa (2.2 bar, 32 psi), front unchanged. Same size and pressures in the model-year 2015 and 2017 European editions.
- 195/50RF16 84V: Run-flat size listed for European cars in the 2015 edition only; the 2017 and 2019 editions list it for Gulf/Colombia markets only.
- 205/45R17 84W: Mazda prints one front and one rear pressure for this car; no full-load figures. Winter (M+S) tyres of this size: rear 220 kPa (2.2 bar, 32 psi), front unchanged. Same size and pressures in the model-year 2015 and 2017 European editions.
What the handbooks don't say
- Editions after model year 2019 (incl. the 2024 update) not read — European edition codes not found.
- The RF is not separately identified in the editions read; no temporary spare is listed (tyre repair kit).

What tyre pressure should a Mazda MX-5 have?
