What the handbooks don't say
- Three online editions of the European facelift (2018-on) manual were read and they disagree: the latest (variant 8204, built either side of 07-02-2022) splits 205/60R16 into 92V (2 (29) front and rear) and 96V (2.4 (35)/2 (29)); variant 7458 prints 205/60 R16 2.4 (35)/2 (29); variant 6827 prints 2.3 (33)/1.9 (28) and separate AWD figures. All three are listed; check the tyre information label on the driver-side B-pillar.
- No pre-facelift (2014-2017 UK) EcoSport handbook was confirmed: online variants 4226 and 4405 print psi-first tables (e.g. "30 (2.07)") with no engine list tying them to the UK car, so they were not used.
- No temporary spare wheel table is printed on the pages read.
Figures marked "Maker's handbook" link to the maker's own document. "Reported" figures are the maker's, read from a copy we could not get from the maker directly. A figure marked ≈ has been converted from the unit the handbook prints. Nothing here has been checked against your car: if it disagrees with the label on the car, the label wins.

What tyre pressure should a Ford EcoSport have?
It depends on the tyre size and, on some versions, the engine. For the sizes Ford lists, the normal-load pressure is 29–35 psi (2.0–2.4 bar) at the front and 28–33 psi (1.9–2.3 bar) at the rear. Find your size in the tables above, and check the tyres cold.
What size tyres does a Ford EcoSport take?
Ford fitted the EcoSport with 205/60 R16, 205/50 R17 and 215/45 R18, depending on the generation and trim. The size is printed on the side of your tyre; the pressures above are listed by size.
Where is the tyre pressure label on a Ford EcoSport?
On most cars it is on the driver's door pillar or inside the fuel filler flap. It normally gives the same figures as the handbook, which is where the ones on this page come from — if the two ever disagree, go by the label on your car.
When should I use the fully laden pressures?
When the car is carrying a full load — every seat taken, a full boot or a trailer. For everyday driving use the normal figures.
